Requesting The MIPC Implementation Guidelines
The Mobile Imaging and Printing Consortium (MIPC) was founded to align
industry leaders on mobile imaging and home printing solutions that ensure a
good end-user experience through interoperability and ease of use. The
process to achieve that alignment was to put together a set of
implementation guidelines to make specific usage recommendations for
existing standards and practices. No new specifications have been created
within the Implementation Guidelines.
The document is written for two primary sets of readers-developers of MIPC
recommended print services and developers of mobile terminal print
applications that will be clients for these services. For both groups there
are references to relevant specifications, supporting documentation and
implementation recommendations for enhancing consistency and robustness
while avoiding potential pitfalls.
The following version of MIPC Implementation Guidelines and the Supplement package are available for downloading:
-
Title: Implementation Guidelines for Home Printing with Mobile Terminals
