Guideline to declare MIPC Adherence

Overview

The Mobile Imaging and Printing Consortium (MIPC) is a non-profit industry association founded in April of 2004, to promote and support direct printing compatibility between mobile phones and printers. In order to promote this activity, MIPC has prepared following two types of references for promotion.

To use these references, the products should adhere to the MIPC guideline version 2.0.

Please note that this reference description is not mandatory. But we highly recommend vendors to use the references for the MIPC adherent products.

Two types of references

The transports can be described with the name of each transport with one exception - use "PictBridge" for USB. For example, "Bluetooth, PictBridge, Memory Cards, IrDA, WiFi". But please do not use the logos of Bluetooth, PictBridge or DPOF within this statement. If you would like to specify the type of memory card, please use * mark to describe the type.
